Momentum Kickstart Conference 2019

Friday January 18, 2019

Do you ever feel like it takes 3 months to get the new business year started? Before you know it, it’s already March and a quarter of the year has gone. But it doesn’t have to be like that this year!

If you really want to take your business to the next level, you need to invest in this half-day of your time to get there!  With nab’s brilliant support of local businesses, you’ll get a snapshot of how you can capitalise on the projected economic conditions of 2019.

The day is facilitated and presented by two of Australia’s most respected Business Coaches from Momentum Business Improvement.

Conference Speakers:

Alan Oster – Chief Economist, National Australia Bank

Alan Oster image 1Alan joined the NAB in 1992 from the Federal Treasury where he worked for 15 years, most recently as the Senior Adviser responsible for economic forecasting and monetary policy.  He graduated (with first class honours) in economics from Newcastle University. He also holds a Master’s degree in economics from ANU.

As Group Chief Economist, Alan is responsible for NAB’s global economic and financial forecasts.  He is also a highly respected and much quoted commentator on Australian and global economic trends and policy issues.

Alan will share his insights on the Global and Local economies in 2019, the opportunities and threats that are facing local businesses and how you can capitalise on coming trends.

Matt Jones – Founder & Branding Expert of Four Pillars Gin

Matt Jones Four_Pillars croppedMatt describes himself as a creative strategist, an accidental entrepreneur and a serial failure.

He was the youngest ever chief political adviser to a major political party in the UK.

He was the first global chief strategy officer for the world’s largest brand experience agency.

He’s a former Gruen panellist who speaks and consults on creative strategies for brands and businesses, advising leaders and organisations from Google to start-ups.

He’s also one of three co-founders and the brand brains behind the fastest growing craft spirits brand in Australia, Four Pillars Gin, which is the number one selling craft spirit in Australia.  Four Pillars Gin is an overnight small business success story five years in the making.

David Crook and Harry Raftos – Momentum

Harry and David are 2 of Australia’s most experienced Business Coaches. They’ve been coaching Business Owners and Managers to success since May 2001. In fact, between them they have 29,750 hours of face to face, one-on-one coaching experience.

It’s great to be inspired by guest speakers at a conference but if you truly want to capitalise on your investment of time in this conference it’s important that you do something with what you learn on the day.

Harry and David will step you through a process that will ensure you actually follow through and implement your learnings.
